#1/100 Strangers – Yves

This is Yves from North Bay. I met him today while I was out shooting on Lake Nipissing. He is a local resident who enjoys ice fishing. I was a little nervous starting this project as you never know how a stranger will react to someone coming up to them with a camera. He was super friendly and even offered his ice hut to warm up if I needed to.

Thanks Yves for being my first stranger and a great experience. I hope you caught a big fish after I left 🙂

Great shot Brian, the lakes around here are not safe to stand on. Can’t remember the last time I went fishing.

This photo really captures how barren it can seem out on a frozen lake. I especially like the sun in this shot. The two reference points, somewhat in the rule of 3rds really add to the feel of just how far out there things go. Excellent work-
